Lifeboat operations manager Tim Conway said "Its a great honour to have one of our crew members representing The Mumbles Lifeboat volunteers at Windsor Castle. Dai has been a member of the crew now for 18 years. Along with being a mechanic on the boat he has been an exceptional volunteer who turns up when the pager goes off come rain or shine. Dai is also chairman of the Crew Association which helps organise the annual raft race. The association raises valuable funds for the charity every year."

David who is head master of Portmead Primary school - will be joined by his partner Beth. "The job this week has been trying to find something suitable to wear as the guidelines from Kensington we’re pretty vague. Wear something comfortable and appropriate to the weather for the event as it will be a long day they said. Whatever happens it will be a memory to treasure for a lifetime."

David was nominated for his contribution to the local community and will be invited into the grounds of Windsor Castle to watch the arrival of guests and listen to the wedding service broadcast live. after the ceremony they will watch the Bride and Groom carriage procession.
